We are approaching the second year to our homeschooling journey. Our first year went so well we can't wait to do it again! In an effort to document our adventures and learn from our experiences I will be blogging some of the highlights and moments we want to remember.
This year marks a new beginning as our second will be entering the official kindergarten year. We are looking forward with much anticipation to the great joys and discoveries that await us on this learning and character building journey.
Although we school mostly year round our official start date with new curriculum is fast approaching. Last year we took a sabbath approach that I was introduced to at a conference; which means we homeschool six weeks and then take a break on the seventh week. This allows us a chance to regroup and prepare for the upcoming weeks. It has worked well for us and will be the method we implement in the future.
